TAMPA, APRIL 6, 2015 – USF freshman infielder Lauren Evans was named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll on Monday for the second time this season.
Evans led the Bulls with three RBIs in two games at UConn last Friday as the Bulls split a doubleheader with the Huskies.
The Land O' Lakes, Fla., native had two doubles in Game 1, including the game-winning hit before driving in two more runs in the second game with her third double of the day. She also scored a run, had a .500 batting average, a .571 on-base percentage and a 1.167 slugging percentage.
USF has had at least one player represented in the conference awards every week this season and five players that have been chosen multiple times.
The Bulls take a break from conference play this week with a non-conference tilt against Florida Gulf Coast on Wednesday in Fort Myers at 6 p.m.
