TAMPA, APRIL 6, 2015 – Take a look ahead at the week in USF Athletics and catch up on last week's action:

Softball (31-12, 3-4)

This Week: The Bulls play their lone game of the week 6 p.m. Wednesday against Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers.

Last Week: Astin Donovan, Karla Claudio and Lauren Evans each drove in runs in USF's 3-2 win at UConn on April 3. The Huskies took the second game of the series, 8-7, on April 3 and the April 4 series finale was canceled due to unplayable field conditions in Storrs, Conn.

Need to Know: Freshman Lauren Evans was named to the American Athletic Conference weekly honor roll after collecting three RBIs in two games against UConn.

Baseball (22-10-1, 5-1)

This Week: The Bulls head to Miami for a test against FIU 6 p.m. Tuesday before a three-game home series against East Carolina this weekend. Games Friday and Saturday begin at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday's series finale is set for a 1 p.m. start at USF Baseball Stadium. Purchase tickets and mini-plans HERE.

Last Week: The Bulls dropped a 6-3 decision at Stetson on March 31 before taking two of three from UConn in Storrs, Conn. USF scored six runs in the final two innings – all with two outs – in a 9-6 comeback win on April 2. The Bulls bounced back from a 7-0 loss on April 3 with an 8-6 victory on April 4.

Need to Know: At 5-1 in conference play, USF is in first place in The American standings. Buddy Putnam was named to the American Athletic Conference weekly honor roll after hitting a three-run homer in the series opener against UConn before collecting three hits in Saturday's series finale.

No. 25 Women's Basketball (27-8)

Last Week: Courtney Williams was named an Associated Press All-America Honorable Mention. Williams scored a school-record 710 points this season and ranked in the top 25 nationally with 20.3 points per game.

No. 22 Men's Tennis (14-6)

This Week: The Bulls jump back into conference play with a home match against No. 47 Memphis 3 p.m. Friday. USF finishes up the week with a home test against MTSU 1 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free at the USF Varsity Courts.

Last Week: USF started its Texas trip with a 4-1 win at No. 39 SMU on April 3. The Bulls nearly knocked off No. 10 TCU in a 4-3 loss on April 4 in Fort Worth.

Women's Tennis (4-14)

Next Event: The American Athletic Conference Championships take place April 15-18 in Tulsa, Okla.

Last Week: The Bulls wrapped up the regular season with a 4-3 loss at Memphis on April 4.

No. 15/18 Men's Golf

This Week: The Bulls tune up for the conference tournament Saturday and Sunday at the Irish Creek Collegiate in Kannapolis, N.C.

No. 76 Women's Golf

Last Week: USF placed ninth out of 17 teams at the Web.com Intercollegiate on March 31 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

Track and Field

This Week: The Bulls host the South Florida Triangular on Saturday at USF Track and Field Stadium.

Sailing

This Week: The Bulls will be in New London, Conn., to compete in the Emily Wick Regatta on Saturday and Sunday.

Last Week: USF placed 18th in the Dellenbaugh women's event in Providence, R.I. Dominique Wright and Darcy Jensen finished in 17th place in the A Division. Alison Knoles and Charlie Bess finished 15th in the B Division.
