Freshman KaNeisha Saunders has made a huge impact for the Bulls coming off the bench and giving a lift in the backcourt. Saunders, a 5-7 guard from Delray Beach, Fla., comes into Saturday's 7 p.m. game with in-state foe North Florida as the team's third leading scorer netting 12 points per game in USF's three outings.
Saunders has scored in double figures in two of her three games played this season, including a career-high 20 points against Saint Peter's on 7-11 shooting from the field and 3-5 from behind the three-point arc. She kicked off her collegiate career netting 14 points in the season opener against Florida A&M.
She is also been pretty dependable from the floor this year shooting 41.4 percent (12-29) and is shooting at a 50 percent clip (5-10) from three-point range.
