How good is #USF if they went into the #VerizonCenter and won in between a #Hoyas home win vs. Duke and now #Villanova?

• The women's basketball team will be on the road tonight at Marquette for a 9 p.m. contest, as the Bulls look to get back on track after a loss to Rutgers Saturday at home. After losing starter Jasmine Wynne for the season, freshman KaNeisha Saunders stepped up to provide USF with a secure ball-handler on the court.

• USF has three exclusive auctions up for bidding right now, with a pair of signed jerseys from defensive ends George Selvie and Jason Pierre-Paul and a signed football helmet from head coach Skip Holtz on the block. Holtz, in fact, has been invited to drop the puck Thursday night at the Tampa Bay Lightning game against the Boston Bruins. Click here for more information about his first professional sports public appearance in the Tampa Bay region. Football season ticket information for the 2010 season is now up, as fans can renew their tickets from the 2009 season or purchase new season tickets for the first year of the Skip Holtz Era.

• Softball starts this weekend, as USF will host the Wilson-DeMarini Tournament Friday through Sunday at the Eddie C. Moore Complex in Clearwater. USF will host four tournaments in all this spring, including the biggest one in the country, the Under Armour Invitational March 5-7. Each week a different player will post their thoughts on the season in a blog, with senior Kristen Gordon chiming in this week.

• USF picked up a pair of BIG EAST weekly awards Monday, as junior Dominique Jones was named to the Weekly Honor Roll after averaging 19.5 points in two games last week. The men's team even picked up a few votes in the AP Top 25 poll, as the Bulls look to eventually crack the Top 25 for the first time ever. USF is also on the bubble as far as the NCAA tournament goes, according to several media members' projections. The Bulls are becoming a legitimate BIG EAST threat each and every game now.

• The other award belonged to senior Jessica Lawson, who earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll as well after also averaging 19.5 points per game, including a 33-point effort Saturday against Rutgers.

• The women's tennis team was in action Monday night up at No. 7 Florida, and the Gators walked away with a sweep, 7-0, over the Bulls.

• Former USF assistant coach Bernard Clark has signed on to be the linebackers coach at Pitt. The Bulls will send six players to the NFL Combine later this month, the most of any BIG EAST team. Brian Bennett writes of the newcomers to watch in the league this spring, with defensive end Claude Davis making an appearance on the list. Matt Grothe is training up in Orlando to strengthen his injured knee as he attempts to get to the next level.
