I liked the program, and wanted to be part of something that was on the rise.
2008 MLB Draft: Selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 29th round as a third baseman.
High School: Batted .458 with six home runs and nine doubles during his senior season ... Named to the All-Hillsborough County team and played in the all-state all-star game ... Team captain ... Played both corner infield positions and also pitched ... Coached by Jim Macaluso.
