TAMPA, Fla. – The 2008 Spring Break Soccer Camp will run from April 7 through April 11 at the University of South Florida Soccer Fields.
The USF Spring Break Camp, directed by the USF men’s soccer head coach George Kiefer, is designed to present and develop the fundamental techniques of soccer in a fun, learning atmosphere. All players will be trained in dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting.
The emphasis for players ages 6-9 will be aimed at improving technique. Players ages 10-16 will be taught technical refinement and receive an introduction to the tactical side of the game.
Goalkeepers will also receive specialized training from our highly qualified staff led by former MSL pro and US National Team member Bo Oshonyi.
The week-long camp will introduce team concepts, while small-sided games will maximize each player’s participation.
Tuition is $105 for ˝ day campers, $175 for full day campers and $210 for the Goalkeeper School. Half day camp will fun from 9 a.m. to noon. Full day camp and Goalkeeper School will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Each participant will be responsible for providing his own soccer shoes, shin guards, and ball. Swimming will be available for full day campers, a towel and swimsuit will be needed.
Lunch will be provided for full day campers, however, a snack and beverage are also recommended.
Each participant will receive a USF Camp T-Shirt.
