TAMPA - Todd Brazeal's bat is starting to heat up and the Big East has taken notice.
USF's senior first baseman made the conference's weekly honor roll on Monday after hitting .400 with two homers and five RBIs to help the Bulls get to 25-12 (10-2 in Big East).
Brazeal homered in USF's series opener at Pittsburgh on Friday and he went deep again on Saturday in the Bulls' 6-5 victory.
A total of six hits in 15 at-bats helped former Chamberlain High School star bring his season batting average up to .247 in 30 games.
USF is back in action 6 p.m. Tuesday at Bethune-Cookman before hosting Louisville in a pivotal three-game series that starts 7 p.m. Friday at USF baseball stadium.
