USF Athletics has you covered with a variety of social media activities to get fans engaged and excited about this year's USF Football Spring Game at Raymond James Stadium on April 21 at 6 pm.
The official Twitter hashtag for the game is #USFSpringGame. Make sure you use the hashtag on all of your social media posts to interact with fans and possibly be included in our postgame Storify on GoUSFBulls.com.
The @USFAthletics Twitter account will host the first-ever Social Media Pregame Show before the Spring Game Kickoff. Be sure to follow @USFAthletics for exclusive insight and updates leading up the game, including photos, videos and player interviews.
There are also three opportunities for fans to prove their social media skills for some great prizes. Here’s how fans can get involved:
Social Media Reporter Contest
Enter the Social Media Reporter contest by tweeting "I want to be a @USFFootball Social Media Reporter at the #USFSpringGame" before Saturday's game. Reporters are encouraged to share content such as photos, video and more on Twitter before and during the game. Show your friends who aren’t at the game what they’re missing out on and keep them informed.
On Monday, the content from each Social Media Reporter will be Storified and fans can vote on the best story. The winner will be the Official GoUSFBulls.com Social Media Reporter for the USF vs Florida State game and receive an official credential with press box access.
#USFSpringGame Instagram Contest
Think you’re an Instagram expert? Tag your photos of your experience before and during the Spring Game with #USFSpringGame and one of the following categories: #Fans, #Action, #BestShot.
The #Fans category includes shots of your favorite Bulls fans enjoying the game or tailgating. #Action refers to action photos of the USF Football team and #BestShot is an all-inclusive category that can be of anything related to the Spring Game.
The best photos from each category will be on display on GoUSFBulls.com on Monday. Fans can vote on their favorites with the winners getting their pictures printed by USF Athletics and signed by head coach Skip Holtz.
USF Football Spring Game Social Media Scavenger Hunt
Fans can participate in the Spring Game Social Media Scavenger Hunt starting at 5 p.m. Check in on Foursquare at the BullsZone in the parking lot located on the south side of Raymond James Stadium. You'll get your first tip there. Follow the clues to get to each new check-in point. We'll give away $1,000 of prizes and one grand prize winner will win a USF Under Armour gear package.
