TAMPA - The USF men's tennis team picked up a lot of valuable experience in Sunday's later rounds of the Bedford Cup in Gainesville.
The Bulls had three players compete against top competition in the singles quarterfinals and Federico Sabogal made it to the semifinals before losing to North Florida's Moritz Buerchner in three sets. Sabogal got to the semifinal match by defeating FSU's Dominik Cotrone, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.
Ravi Patel got to see a talented player from host UF in the quarterfinals and lost to Gordon Watson, 6-3, 6-2. Guillermo De Vilchez also lost in the quarterfinals to Florida Mike Alford, 6-4, 6-2.
