Team Notes

-The Bulls held FSU to just 13 first half points, their lowest total in the first half through five games this season

-USF held FSU to just 17 passing yards in the first quarter … the Seminoles entered the game averaging 293.5 yards of passing offense.

-USF set a program record with an official home attendance of 69,383 … previous record was 67,012 vs. West Virginia (9/28/07) … the crowd is also the biggest for a game at Raymond James Stadium that wasn’t the Super Bowl.

-USF held FSU to its lowest point total of the season.

 

Individual Notes

QB B.J. Daniels

-Scored his 22nd and 23rd career rushing TDs, moving him into a tie for second all-time at USF for rushing TDs … tied with Matt Grothe and Mike Ford

-Recorded his fourth-straight 100+yard passing and 50+yard rushing game of the season

-With 64 total plays, moved into second place all-time on the BIG EAST career total offense plays list with 1,503 plays

 

CB Kayvon Webster

-Recorded a career-high 12 tackles and added two PBU and two TFL.  Webster’s 12 tackles are the most by a Bull this season.

 

DE Tevin Mims

-Recorded a career-high 6 tackles

 

DT Cory Grissom

- Recorded his first full sack of the season in the third quarter … now has 1.5 sacks on the year.

 

DT Luke Sager                                          

-Recorded his second career sack and first of the season in the second quarter

 

DT Elkino Watson

-Recorded his second sack of the season and third of his career.

 

LB Tashon Whitehurst

­-Recorded his first career blocked punt

 

PK Maikon Bonani

- Extended his streak of consecutive FG made to 12 with his 32-yarder in the first quarter

Coin Toss: Florida State won the toss and deferred. USF elected to receive and defend the south end zone.
