Kayla Walton led the attack with 11 kills, while Natalie Soares posted 21 assists in the weekend finale for the Bulls (13-12, 5-7). Jeni Houser had 11 kills for an efficient Notre Dame squad that posted a .333 hitting percentage on the way to improving to 17-6 (10-1 in Big East).

USF kept it close in the first set, siding out at 60 percent, but the Irish maintained control of the match by holding the Bulls to a .119 hitting percentage.

Walton was a bright spot for USF all weekend and started play off with 17 kills in a 3-1 loss at DePaul on Friday.

The Bulls wrap up a three-match road trip 2 p.m. Saturday at Pittsburgh before returning to the Corral to host in-state rival Florida A&M on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m.
