Prior to USF: A four-star center. Ranked 72nd by ESPN and seventh overall at his position nationally as a high school recruit, Egbunu has the ability to be an immediate impact freshman, using his length and a 40-inch vertical to pose as a strong rim defender who is able to run the floor. The incoming freshman played at Georgia Elite Christian in Atlanta, Ga. before moving to Florida and Fort Walton Beach for his junior and senior seasons. During the 2012 summer circuit, Egbunu stood out at many tournaments including the NBA Top 100 camp.
