Bulls Move Up to No. 24 in National Rankings

TAMPA (Jan. 18, 2017) – After the first week of play, the USF men's tennis team moved up one spot to No. 24 in the ITA Rankings. This marks the 38th week that the Bulls have been ranked in the Top 25.

USF spent its first weekend of spring play in Fort Myers, Fla., facing two Power 5 opponents in Louisville and Wisconsin. USF finished the weekend with 18 singles wins and nine doubles wins. The Bulls went undefeated in doubles against Wisconsin, and made a clean sweep of Florida Gulf Coast on the final day of the tournament.

Coming up this season, USF will play five teams currently ranked in the top 25, and two that are receiving votes. The Bulls will travel to Gainesville for the ITA Kick-Off weekend Jan. 28, where they will face LSU in the opening match.
