Bulls Set Four Program Top 10 Marks in Miami
MIAMI, MARCH, 25, 2017 – The University of South Florida track and field team competed in the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational, hosted by the University of Miami, on Saturday.
Senior Mira Carrozza (Pittsburgh) posted the second-best javelin mark in program history with a distance of 149-4.
Sophomore Jada Massie (Bradenton, Fla.) then placed third in the 100 meter dash in 11.57 seconds, fifth-best in school history.
The women's 4x100m relay team of Chelsea Francis (Jacksonville, Fla.), Jada Massie (Bradenton, Fla.), Krysten Golden (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), and Shenica Bazile (Naples, Fla.) improved on their seventh-best time in program history (45.76).
Sophomore Stephanie Lambeth (Frankenmuth, Mich.) finished third in the women's pole vault (12-3.5), tied for ninth-best in school history.

The Bulls will compete in the Texas Relays from March 30-April 1.
About USF Track and Field
Led by 11th-year head coach Warren Bye, the USF track and field team has produced 21 All-Americans (eight men, 13 women) since 2000 and at least one All-American in nine of the last 10 years. Recent graduate Matthew O'Neal is USF's first six-time NCAA All-American. The Bulls return all-conference performer David Akins (pole vault) and Michael Babinec (steeplechase), as well as NCAA qualifier Bernicia Holifield (hammer throw). The Bulls' next home meet will be the USF Invitational April 21-22. The Bulls are home to the 2018 NCAA Track and Field East Preliminary.
