Bulls Sweep Houston, 4-0

HOUSTON (April 9, 2017) – After injuries plagued Houston, the Bulls took the doubles point and Sophomore Nicole Dzenga (Harare, Zimbabwe) clinched the match on court four.

The Bulls went into singles needing just one win to clinch the match after the Cougars forfeited the No. 5 and 6 spots. Nicole Dzenga didn’t lose any time, going after a pair of 6-1 wins to help the Bulls win another conference match.

In doubles, Houston forfeited spot three giving the Bulls the advantage. Vera Bessonova and Dzenga took the lead and didn’t look back topping Ana Glumac and Constanden Nicolaou, 6-1.

The Bulls will head to the USTA National Campus for the War on I-4 April 14 at 4 p.m. to conclude their regular-season schedule.
