The longest tenured member of the USF men’s basketball staff is Senior Secretary Joan Snyder. The 2007-08 campaign will mark Snyder’s 27th with the program.

Snyder arrived at USF in 1980 and has worked for a total of five head basketball coaches with the Bulls.  She has also worked with the USF baseball team.

A native of Amsterdam, N.Y., Snyder attended Syracuse University before settling in Tampa. She is married to Dr. Robert Snyder, a USF professor who teaches American Studies courses.

The couple has two children, Kristin Snyder Tonelli (wife of former USF player and current Director of Basketball Operations Tommy) and Dylan Snyder (married to Julie Almeida Snyder), plus five adorable grandchildren - Thomas, Matthew and Allie Tonelli and Cristina and Dylan Snyder, Jr.
