Andy Morris joined the University of South Florida athletic department prior to the 2010-11 academic year as the Director of Marketing and New Media.

At USF, Morris manages the social media plan and initiatives for USF Athletics, is the producer for Bulls football and basketball home games and is responsible for marketing efforts for men's and women's soccer, volleyball, men's and women's basketball, baseball and softball.

Prior to USF, Morris spent the last four years at University of South Carolina, where he worked as the coordinator of digital and social media, revenue development coordinator and athletics marketing assistant after starting as a student marketing assistant.

In his last year at South Carolina as the coordinator of digital and social media, Morris was responsible for the management of digital and social assets for USC athletics. There he created the department's first digital and social media strategy plan and was the editor for the official website of University of South Carolina athletics (Gamecocksonline.com).

As the revenue development coordinator, Morris was part of a staff that was responsible for implementing the yearly equitable seating plan for South Carolina Football that generated nearly $7 million for the athletics department. He was also tasked with website management and e-mail marketing for the Gamecock Club.

Morris created and executed the marketing plan for men's soccer, improving average attendance by 17 percent while working as a marketing assistant at USC. He developed an official athletics blog on GamecocksOnline.com called Spurs Up! and managed on-field promotions for football, basketball and baseball games.

Morris graduated from Appalachian State University with a bachelor of science in public relations, and continued his education with a master's of science in sports management from the University of South Carolina.
