TAMPA - Eight USF student-athletes recently picked up some nice recognition for their work on the athletic stage and in the classroom.
USF soccer's Ricardo Webb, Leston Paul, Ashani Fairclough; golf's Bodi Karsono; track and field's Shaniel Chambers; football's Lindsay Lamar and Maikon Bonani and softball's Stephanie Medina have been named Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholars. The award is given out to undergraduate candidates who have excelled in athletics and community service along with having a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.2.
