TAMPA - Ben Sweat has been rewarded for making USF's season debut a hit.
The junior has been named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week after scoring the game-winning goal in the Bulls' 2-1 victory over Michigan on Friday that was televised nationally on Fox Soccer Channel.
Sweat put the go-ahead goal in the net in the 65th minute off a rebounded penalty kick shot by Leston Paul. USF scored the equalizer in the 64th minute when Brenton Griffiths beat Michigan keeper Adam Grinwis, with assists coming from Paul and Mario Mesen.
