TAMPA - James Ramsay was very good for the Bulls last spring and the junior got even better during the summer.
USF's leading hitter tied for the Northwoods League lead with a .381 average in 62 contests following the Bulls' run to the Big East tournament championship game. Ramsay added three homers, 10 triples, 11 doubles and 41 RBIs along with 19 steals for the Duluth Huskies.
Ramsay put himself into a great position to succeed in a very good summer league by batting .328 with 32 RBIs in 60 games as a sophomore. He was named an All-Big East selection for his efforts.
