TAMPA - Former Bulls defensive back Mike Jenkins is happy to remain a Cowboy.
Jenkins' name was brought up a lot before the NFL's trade deadline and he was glad to stay with the team that selected him in the first round of the 2008 draft.
"I tried not to keep it on my mind," Jenkins told ESPNDallas.com. "I figured if it was going to happen, it would have happened, so I just tried to stay focused on the week and learn what I needed to learn this week."
Jenkins has played in six games this season, totaling three tackles and two pass breakups. He has intercepted eight passes in his NFL career and his breakout year came in 2009, when he had five picks and made the Pro Bowl.
