Baxter's Career Going Strong Overseas

TAMPA - Former Bull Jimmy Baxter's basketball career is still going strong overseas.
USF's guard/forward from 2000-04 is averaging 15.3 points and 2.3 assists for the LTi Giessen 46ers in Germany this season. Baxter averaged more than 9 points in his final two seasons at USF before cutting his college career short to concentrate on qualifying for the 2004 Summer Olympics. The two-sport star earned All-American honors as a Bull in the high jump.
Baxter's basketball career has taken him to quite a few places since college. The 6-foot-6 scorer has played for teams in Portugal, Italy, France, Latvia, Belgium, Turkey, Israel, Greece, Slovenia and the Dominican Republic.
Baxter also has spent time in NBA camps with Atlanta, Miami and Memphis as recently as 2009.
