TAMPA - The Redskins need help in their secondary and have added a former Bull to their roster.
Washington has signed cornerback Jerome Murphy and the third-year pro joined the team on Tuesday in preparation for a Thanksgiving Day game against Dallas.
Murphy was drafted in the third round by St. Louis in 2010 and he's also made stops in New Orleans and Detroit. Murphy intercepted eight passes as a Bull from 2005-09 and was named to Phil Steele's All-Big East First Team at the end of his senior season.
