TAMPA - Bulls baseball season is
right around the corner, but before head coach Lelo Prado and his squad take to
the diamond, Prado would like to invite all USF supporters to join him at the
Claw for the 2013 University of South Florida Baseball Golf Classic on Feb. 9.
Following the tournament,
participants and their families are invited to head to the USF baseball and
softball stadiums for a preseason scrimmage followed by a match-up between
USF's 2012 NCAA Women's College World Series softball team and Michigan. It
will be a day full of family fun with activities set up for kids of all ages.
The tournament will begin at
9 a.m., with registration beginning at 8 a.m.. The format will be a four-man
18-hole scramble. The $150 entrance fee will include greens fee, cart rental,
USF baseball gear and refreshments throughout the day. Sponsorship
packages are also available.
