TAMPA - Jawanza Poland's strong all-around game against George Mason has earned him some conference recognition.

The senior guard was named to the Big East weekly honor roll on Monday after posting a team-high 16 points and eight rebounds in a 61-57 victory Saturday night at the Sun Dome.

Poland's scoring average is up to 10.5 points per game entering the Bulls' road test at UCF 8 p.m. Wednesday in Orlando. USF has won three straight and is looking to finish non-conference play with a 9-3 record.
