TAMPA - Anna Hancock helped the Bulls stay near the middle of the pack in the second round of the UCF Challenge.

Hancock carded a 1-over 73 on Monday to help the USF women's golf team move up one spot to 11^th place at RedTail Golf Club in Sorrento, Fla. USF is seven shots away from the top 10 with one more round to go on Tuesday.

"I'm really happy with the way Anna is putting her rounds together," head coach Marci Kornegay said. "She shot 73 today and felt she left a lot of shots out there, which is encouraging. I know when she gets back out there she's going to be really determined to take a little bit lower."

Amy West, Diana Rabago and Christina Miller each posted a 76, while Shena Yang carded a 79 a day after opening with a 74 in USF's second event of the spring.

"For us to be able to throw out a 79 is still pretty good golf for this team right now," Kornegay said. "I'm happy the team is stepping up. We're getting contributing members all the way down the lineup."
