TAMPA – The Bulls are looking to remain in top form with the NCAA East Preliminaries approaching.
Select members of the USF track and field team are competing Friday at the Louisville Twilight meet with less than two weeks to go before qualifiers head to North Carolina A&T for the initial NCAA round.
The Bulls last competed at the Big East Outdoor Championship on May 5 when the women’s squad placed third and the men’s team finished fourth at Rutgers University. USF had seven event winners, 15 top-three finishes and placed 26 during the three-day meet.
Kevin Bell will be competing in the 200 at Louisville after he helped the Bulls’ 4x100-meter relay team win a Big East title. Bell, Derrick Hopkins, Roshard Williams and Landon Hargrove posted a time of 40.82 seconds that ranks second in school history.
