By TOM ZEBOLD

USF Senior Writer

TAMPA – USF’s Courtney Williams has landed a spot on the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll after continuing her scoring surge in two victories last week.

The sophomore guard currently leads all USF scorers with 16.3 points per game after averaging 17 points and 7.5 points off the bench in victories over Jacksonville and Bradley.

Williams posted 15 points, five rebounds and four steals in the Bulls’ 82-53 win over Jacksonville on Nov. 13 at the Sun Dome. The Folkston, Ga., native followed that up with 19 points and 10 rebounds in an 87-63 win at Bradley on Sunday.

USF (3-1) returns to the Sun Dome to host North Carolina Central 7 p.m. Wednesday and finishes up its two-game home stand 2 p.m. Sunday against Clemson. Purchase tickets HERE.
