TAMPA, JULY 14, 2014 – Take a look ahead at the week in USF Athletics and catch up on last week’s action:



Last Week: Head coach Ken Eriksen and former USF ace Sara Nevins helped Team USA capture the General Tire World Cup of Softball IX title last week in Irvine, Calif. Nevins earned the win in the championship game against Canada on Sunday after striking out eight and allowing two hits in 6.1 scoreless innings. Nevins gave up just one earned run on five hits in 13.1 innings during tournament.
