2011: Went 1-2 with a school record 0.80 earned run average for relievers... Had a team high 28 appearances… Led the BIG EAST in saves and was 13th nationally… Named to 2011 Stopper of the Year Watch List… Earned second team All-BIG EAST honors (no reliever was named to the first team)… In 13 save opportunities, had an ERA is 0.56 allowing just six hits and striking out 18 with. opponents are hitting .118 in those 13 chances … In four of his 12 saves, he had to record more than three outs, including an eight out save at Louisville (4/24)… In his lone blown save, Quackenbush entered the game in the eighth inning looking for a six out save but yielded two runs with one being unearned... Picked up a pair of saves against Seton Hall in Games 1 and 2... The save vs. Seton Hall on 4/16 recorded his first six out save, striking out two... Quackenbush picked up a career-long eight-out save to preserve the Bulls 10-5 win over Louisville on 3/23... Quackenbush worked scoreless ninths in the Bulls’ first two wins over St. John’s on 4/29 & 4/30… Worked a scoreless ninth vs. UNF (5/17) to pick up his 12th save… Picked up his first win of the season in the regular season finale in Bulls come from behind win.
2010: Made a team-high 25 appearances for the Bulls... Went 2-5 with four saves... Carried a 4.28 ERA... Struck out 49 batters in 33.2 innings of work with opponents hitting a mere .226 ... Was third on the team in strikeouts... Worked a scoreless inning to pick up his first save of the season vs. Eastern Illinois (3/14)... Picked up his second save by going 1.2 innings against Mercer... Came on to pitch 1.2 innings vs. Western Illinois (3/7) for his first win of the season... Pitched 3.0 innings of hitless relief to preserve a 2-1 lead and pick up the save against Seton Hall (5/1)... Gained his second win after going 4.0 innings of relief while striking out a career-high eight batters in Bulls extra-inning win over Pitt (5/21) in the regular season finale ... Yielded three runs on two hits with just one being earned... Tossed a career high 6.0 innings but suffered the loss in the Bulls' extra inning loss to Louisville in the BIG EAST Championship ... In 6.0 innings of work, did not walk a batter and struck out seven.
