TAMPA, Fla. - Players from the University of South Florida volleyball team will be on the WTVT Fox 13 show Good Day Tampa Bay Tuesday from 8-9 a.m.
Fans wanting to see the volleyball team live on television can check their local listings for the channel in their area.
The Bulls will be on the morning show to promote their "Dig for the Cure" match, in which the team will raise money for breast cancer research. The match will take place Tuesday night at 7 p.m. against North Florida. USF will be collecting donations and taking pledges and donating that money to Susan G. Komen Florida Suncoast Breast Cancer Foundation.
The 2007 season marks the fourth year that USF has been participating in this program and the fight against breast cancer. The Bulls have raised over $8,500 in that time and look to build on that amount to make a difference for the cause.
People wishing to contribute monetary donations to the USF “Dig for the Cure” campaign can fill out a pledge sheet online at GoUSBulls.com or at a Bulls’ home volleyball match.
