Our first full day in Cancun was very enjoyable.
We woke up and had breakfast, buffet style. We had practice around 10 a.m. Everyone was very energized and ready to take care of business. We went over some things to prepare for our game tomorrow night vs. Oregon, and received some exciting news!
The coaches had planned a trip to the spa!
So, practice lasted for about an hour-and-a-half, and then we all went back to our rooms, changed, and headed to the spa. We were able to experience full treatment.
It was definitely something we all needed! After our spa experience, some of us went by the beach or pool, ate lunch, and began to get ready for dinner. We had dinner at the team banquet with all eight teams participating in the Carribean Challenge this week. It was very nice.
After dinner, there was some entertainment with a mexican culture dance performance and, also, a Michael Jackson impersonator, who was very good. By the time this had all finished, everyone was tired and went back to their rooms to get a good night's sleep for the game tomorrow!!
Until we talk again,
