2009: A First Team ALL-BIG EAST selection by the BIG EAST Coaches, ESPN.com, Phil Steele and Rivals ... Named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week and CollegeFootballPerformance.com co-National Linebacker of the Week after the West Virginia game ... Named Defensive Playmaker of the Year by USF coaches and Defensive MVP by way of a unanimous vote from his teammates ... Led team with 105 tackles, third with nine tackles for loss ... Also had one sack, one force fumble, one fumble recovery, one interception and one pass breakup ... Led the team in tackles on seven occasions including four straight games during BIG EAST play ...
