A First Team ALL-BIG EAST selection by the BIG EAST Coaches, ESPN.com, Phil Steele and Rivals ... Named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week and CollegeFootballPerformance.com co-National Linebacker of the Week after the West Virginia game ... Named Defensive Playmaker of the Year by USF coaches and Defensive MVP by way of a  unanimous vote  from his teammates ... Led team with 105 tackles, third with nine tackles for loss ... Also had one sack, one force fumble, one fumble recovery, one interception and one pass breakup ... Led the team in tackles on seven occasions including four straight games during BIG EAST play ... Record 12 or more tackles in four straight BIG EAST games, also had at least one TFL during the stretch ... Had 18 at Rutgers, the second-most ever in a game in USF history ... Called the, "toughest player I have ever coached," by defensive coordinator Joe Tresey after he split his hand between his middle and ring fingers against Florida State ...
