CHAMPS/Life Skills Program

“The mission of the NCAA is to maintain Intercollegiate Athletics as integral part of the campus educational programs and the student-athletes as an integral pat of the student body. With this in mind, the NCAA CAMPS/Life Skills Program was created to enhance the quality of the student-athlete experience within the context of higher education” (National Collegiate Athletic Association).
The CHAMPS/Life Skills Program supports student-athlete development ad excellence in five areas: Academics, Athletics, Personal Development, Career Development, and Community Service. These five areas serve as the basis for the CHAMPS/Life Skills Program Commitment Statements:
