James Worthy vs. USF What is the Varsity Club?
The mission of the Varsity Club is to encourage past USF athletics members to be lifelong members of the USF Athletics family and to strengthen the bond between them, the University, and the department of intercollegiate athletics. The Bulls Varsity Club will strive to provide its members with the opportunity to foster and maintain relationships across different sports and generations thus promoting the interest and mission of the University of South Florida.

With all of the talk recently about the new USF Athletics Initiative, including plans for the new basketball practice facility, now's a good time as ever to revisit the late 70s, when the Sun Dome first began to take shape on the USF campus. Opened on Nov. 29, 1980, the Sun Dome cost an estimated $12 million to build.
