University of South Florida men's basketball coach Stan Heath recently sat down with Jim Lighthall, the Voice of USF men's basketball, to recap the exhibition game and give fans a sneak peak at the 2009-10 season.
The duo talked about the offensive presence in the 110-79 exhibition victory over Florida Southern on Nov. 3 as well as the team's depth, as every active player on the team scored as least two points, including four players in double-digits, led by 20 from juniors Dominique Jones and Jarrid Famous.
Heath and Lighthall then examined the experience of the returning players as well as the roles of the six newcomers before exploring the rigorous schedule.
USF opens the 2009-10 season on Nov. 13 at SMU, then returns for the home opener against Virginia on Monday, Nov. 16 in the Sun Dome.
