DES MOINES, Iowa - The University of South Florida's Nicole Rozario claimed 21st place in the 3,000-meter Steeplechase on Thursday at the NCAA Championships. With a time of 10:31.01, Rozario improved by three spots, based on her seed, to claim honorable mention All-America honors.
Rozario joined discus thrower Jared Thomas as USF All-Americans after Thomas claimed second-team honors yesterday by finishing 12th. David Aristil (400m hurdles) and Stephanie Duffy (pole vault) will finish off competition for the Bulls tomorrow when they compete in the finals of their respective events.
