TAMPA – Rising junior Catherine Leibbrandt of the University
of South Florida women’s soccer team is taking “A Pitch Less Traveled” this summer
as she is currently partaking in a program called Level Playing Field Inc. in
La Paz, Bolivia.
Leibbrandt is spending the next three weeks teaching soccer and English to local teenage girls.
LPF is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization striving to build a
self-sufficient development model targeting mutual benefits for participants
from both sides of the wealth divide. LPF runs soccer camps for young women
aged 14 to 17 in Bolivia.
