Stallworth Third in Triple Jump at U.S. Juniors

EUGENE, Ore. - University of South Florida freshman Marqueshia Stallworth finished up competition for the Bulls at the U.S. Championships by finishing third in the junior triple jump on Saturday. Stallworth, who entered the competition with a season-best 41-5.25, used a leap of 40-6.75, her third-best mark of the year, to earn the bronze.

Stallworth opened with a 39-8 on her first attempt and hit the 40-6.75 in round two. Her next jump also was over 40 feet, a 40-3 mark, but she was unable to improve over her final three attempts.
