TAMPA - Extending their unbeaten streak has helped the Bulls stay put at No. 5 in this week's NCAA RPI ratings.

The USF men's soccer team (12-2-3, 7-0-2) hasn't lost in its past 11 games and became the first Bulls squad in program history to go undefeated during a Big East regular season. USF won at least a share of the Big East Red Division title last week with a 3-0 win over Cincinnati and the team kept the whole thing to itself by playing to a double-overtime tie at Rutgers on Monday.

"That was very important to the guys in the locker room. We didn't want to share it," head coach George Kiefer said.

USF's stellar performances also kept the team high up in the national rankings.

The Bulls jumped two spots to No. 4 in Top Drawer Soccer's poll this week, and sit at No. 5 in the NSCAA and Soccer Times rankings. College Soccer News has USF at No. 6.

USF earned a first-round bye in the Big East Tournament and will host a quarterfinal game 1 p.m. Sunday against Thursday's Notre Dame-Villanova winner at Corbett Soccer Stadium.
