By TOM ZEBOLD USF Senior Writer Tiffany Conner scored a career-high 16 points, but the Bulls suffered a 76-63 loss to Idaho State at the Air Force Classic on Friday night in Colorado. USF (5-4) shot 29 percent (18 percent in first half) and had three players foul out. Jasmine Wynne led the team with 17 points, but was forced to sit after five fouls along with Akila McDonald and Andrell Smith. “It’s disappointing especially with how well we’ve been playing,” head coach Jose Fernandez said. Idaho State (4-3) came into the game averaging four 3-pointers and used 10 to pull away from the Bulls. Kaela Oakes posted a game-high 22 points after going 5-for-9 from beyond the arch. “You’re a Big East team in a tournament. This is a huge game for them and we did not match their intensity,” Fernandez said. USF will look to bounce back 6:30 p.m. (EST) Saturday when it faces Air Force in its Classic finale. “We have to come back tomorrow,” Fernandez said. “You’re on the road and you have to win against the home team.”
