Bulls' Winning Streak Ends at Three

TAMPA - The USF women's tennis team had its three-match winning streak snapped with a loss at No. 23 Texas A&M on Friday.

Fanny Fracassi and Paula Montoya were the winners for the Bulls in their 5-2 defeat to the Aggies with Montoya being the only player to push her opponent to three sets in singles at George P. Mitchell Tennis Center in College Station.

Fracassi, playing at the No. 4 singles position, beat Lauren Santacroce, 7-5, 6-2. Montoya was able to defeat Janine Erasmus, 7-6, 1-6, 1-0, in the last match of the night.

This is the Bulls' third loss to a top 25 ranked team this season. No. 26 USF (7-4) will head to Houston on Sunday to play at Rice University.
