The No. 42 Bulls have earned a couple of well-deserved days off.

The USF women's tennis team cruised to a 6-1 win at Maryland on Sunday that capped off a 4-0 week for head coach Agustin Moreno's squad.

"They have spring break, so I'm going to give them a couple of days off," Moreno said. "Then we have to get into the next part of the season that is most important."

USF (8-5) was focused on taking care of business first and started off by winning the doubles point. Ecaterina Vasenina and Loreto Alonso Martinez teamed up for an 8-5 victory and the Bulls sealed the doubles point up with a 9-7 triumph by Danielle Mills and Fanny Fracassi.

"What was huge was winning the doubles point," said Moreno, who switched up partners in the second and third doubles slots. "We're getting into a stage where even if we find difficulty we're stepping up. Our attitude is so much better and everyone is competing hard."

Alonso Martinez, Fracassi and Alessandra Bonte followed with two-set singles victories while Vasenina and Paula Montoya outlasted their opponents in three sets.

The Bulls started their week off with wins over Boston College and Miami (Ohio) in Tampa before edging Georgetown, 4-3, Saturday in Washington, D.C.
