Game Two Postponed Due to Inclement Weather

TAMPA - The Bulls and the Cardinals made it midway through seven innings before the game was called due to inclement weather.
Game two of the series will resume at noon on Sunday with the final game of the series following immediately after.
Louisville jumped out to an early 8-0 lead scoring five runs in the third inning.
Starting pitcher Joey Lovecchio gave up eight runs on eight hits through three innings before sophomore pitcher Janick Serrallonga came in to relieve Lovecchio.
Serrallonga struck out Cole Sturgeon to escape the inning without allowing any more runs to score.
The Bulls got on the board to end the shutout in the fourth inning.
Todd Brazeal hit a leadoff single, reached second base on an error by the Cardinal's shortstop and advanced to third on a wild pitch. Zac Gilcrease picked up an RBI on an infield sacrifice to score Brazeal and make the score 8-1.
Freshman pitcher Devin Smith came in to relieve Serrallonga in the seventh inning. Serrallonga pitched 3 2/3 innings allowing one run, three hits and two strikeouts.
The Cardinals added runs in the fifth and seventh innings to extend their lead to 12-1 before the game was called.
