USF Welcomes Two New Members to Staff

June 04, 2012
The USF volleyball team and head coach Claire Lessinger are thrilled to announce the additions of two members to their staff for the upcoming season.

Uros Davidovic signs on as a volunteer coach and will play a big part in the team's on-court training while also serving as the data volley technician. He brings with him to USF a wealth of coaching knowledge and experience ranging from high school to USA Volleyball.

Davidovic played and coached for the men's club team at Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pa., and also coached Trinity High School's girls' team in Camp Hill, Pa., for the past six years.  Adding to his coaching experiences, Davidovic has been accredited through USA Volleyball programs for a number of years, learning some of the best proven practices used by USA Volleyball to train their elite athletes.

"Uros is an incredible addition to our staff," Lessinger said. "We are lucky and grateful that Uros is committing his time to USF Volleyball.  He is extremely passionate about the opportunity and we can't wait to have him around consistently."

Also joining the staff as the Director of Operations is former USF standout setter Brittany Castelamare. She will be in charge of handling the day-to-day operations as well as any miscellaneous projects.

A lifelong Bulls fan, Castelamare started her career at USF in 2006 when she finished second on the team with 416 assists. She would finish her career in the top 10 all-time in assists at USF with 1,642.

"She appreciates the time she spent in a jersey and definitely cares about the future success of the program," Lessinger said. "I love having her around and still involved."

Castelamare will also attend graduate school while performing her duties as Director of Operations.
