Gilchrist to Play in NBA Summer League

TAMPA - Augustus Gilchrist has a chance to make his NBA dreams become a reality with a strong showing this month.

USF's former big man is on the Sacramento Kings' 19-man roster for the 2012 NBA Summer League that takes place in Las Vegas. The Kings will play five games in seven days starting this Friday with a contest against Charlotte at 10 p.m. (ET).

Gilchrist, a 6-foot-10 forward/center, led USF in points per game (9.5) and blocks (39) on the way to helping the Bulls reach the third round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time this past season.
