TAMPA – USF’s offense dominated in the second half scoring a season high four goals in 12 minutes Friday night.

Four different Bulls scored a goal in the 4-1 victory over Cincinnati to help USF improve to in 2-1-1 in conference games.

“I think we came in a bit nervous in the first half, and then in the second half we came out with an attitude,” said Sharla Passariello. “The second half was more of us controlling the tempo.”

The Bulls outshot the Bearcats 23-13 for the game.

Cincinnati scored the lone goal of the first half to take a 1-0 lead on a shot that sailed off of the hand of freshman keeper Christiane Endler

USF stuck fast in the second half.

Passariello picked up her fifth goal of the season less than one minute into the second half to tie the game at 1-1.

“I was really glad that she was able to make the adjustments,” said head coach Denise Schile-Brown. “She was phenomenal.”

The Bulls were able to take a 2-1 lead on a header by Demi Stokes delivered by Passariello.

“It’s really fun to see them score goals,” said Schilte-Brown.

USF continued to pile on the goals.

Olivia Chance scored the third goal of the night for the Bulls, and Daniela Andrade recorded her first goal of the season to give the Bulls a 4-1 lead with minutes remaining in the match.

“I loved watching Daniela tonight,” said Schilte-Brown.  “She scored a tremendous goal and played an excellent game.”

USF will host Big East opponent Louisville 1 p.m. Sunday at Corbett Soccer Stadium.

“We have to go into the game on Sunday ready to get another win,” said Schilte-Brown.
