TAMPA - Eric Osswald has been rewarded for his ability to excel on the field and in the classroom.
USF's junior keeper has been named to the Capital One Academic All-District First Team for District 4. The finance/accounting major has posted a 3.91 grade point average on top of leading all Bulls keepers in games played (12), goals against average (1.08), saves (31), wins (6) and shutouts (4).
The Academic All-District Teams are divided into eight geographical districts in the U.S. and Canada. Osswald and other first-team members advanced to the Capital One Academic All-America Team ballot. First-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be named later in November.
