TAMPA - Ravi Patel and Oliver Pramming performed well in a pro setting on Friday.

Both Bulls advanced to the second round of qualifying at the IMG Academy $10K Futures Tournament in Bradenton.

"They had a great attitude on the court today," assistant coach Brandon Wagner said. "They were fired up and eager to play in a professional tournament, and they really carried themselves well."

Patel cruised past American opponent Brandon Donaldson, 6-1, 6-0, and will face Germany's Pirmin Haenle at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Pramming also had control in his first-round match on the way to defeating Drew Halbauer, 6-2, 6-4. Pramming will face Viju George Jr. Saturday morning at 9.

Also on the court for USF on Friday was Federico Sabogal, who was eliminated with a 6-3, 6-4 loss to Grayson Goldin.

Players must post four straight wins in qualifying to advance to the tournament's main draw.
