TAMPA - Oliver Pramming is making at least a weekend out of a pro experience in Bradenton.
USF's sophomore advanced to the third round of qualifying at the IMG Academy $10K Futures Tournament with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Viju George Jr. on Saturday. Pramming looks to move within one victory of reaching the main draw when he faces Clayton Almeida on Sunday morning.
"Throughout the match he was making corrections and adjustments, and it was nice to see him executing some shots," assistant coach Brandon Wagner said. "He took care of business and did what he needed to do to advance."
Ravi Patel's tournament run ended with a 6-0, 6-3 loss to Pirmin Haenle in the second round of qualifying.
